WWII Experience
Oak Tree Ranch and its lands are located along the Gothic Line. In its woods there are trenches and military posts that tell of the war with clear traces.
In the nearby, we also found a natural inlet which, once made safe, we set up as a refuge of the time, aware that here there is talk of the presence of old refuges, now lost, but which we wanted to try to recover.
Combining this with our passion for historical research of the Second World War period, we created a private "Park" where we recovered positions and shelter, cleaning them and setting them up with objects from the time, so as to recreate an environment that paid homage and honor to the history and our past, with the aim of making it accessible to visitors, guests, interested parties, schools and travelers of our mountains.
The Park can be visited by prior agreement with us to organize the visit together and the more adventurous can also try the unrepeatable experience of sleeping in the refuge!

Liberation Route
One of the itineraries of the Liberation Route, the network of paths and itineraries that connect the places of memory of the Second World War and their history throughout Europe, is right near the lands of the Ranch! The circular route will take you from the town to the summit of Mount Catarelto and you will find the Liberation Route Vector right on the route near the wooden noticeboard dedicated to the Ranch and the history of the Battle of the area.
